Well, since this is a mispelled name of one of last years American Idol contestants, Kady Malloy, I'm still going to update you on what I've been doing. My name is Katy Malloy. I get a lot of email asking me if I'm the one from American Idol. You'd think after a while people would realize that her name has a 'D' in it and my name has a 'T'.
What's worse, whenever they start showing clips from last years American Idol on this years series, it will start all over again. The emails, phone calls, texts, etc. The media won't let up. Not to mention the rabid fans!
Anyway, I went on a Summer vacation to Italy last year. I really enjoyed getting away for a while and just letting off some steam. I went without my boyfriend, which didn't make him happy. But to be honest, I just needed to get away from my life for a while.
I loved seeing the Italian countryside, especially the Olive groves. I was fortunate enough to watch some of the farmers tending their crops. I had a nice talk with one Olive farmer and he told me that some of the Olive trees in the Mediterranian were several hundred years old. That's mind boggling when you consider all the changes that has happened over the centuries, not including all the Wars they've had over there.
Anyway, once I left Italy, I then went to Greece. I just love the countryside with all those quaint little villages. Didn't much care for the Cities though. I thought they were a little on the dirty side and some of the people really were rude or would just stare at you as you walked by. Not nearly as friendly as the villagers in the countryside.
After my 18 day Cruise was over, we headed home here to the U.S. Well, what do you know, my boyfriend survived without me and came running up to me like a little whining pup. I was happy to see him, but honestly his whining and acting all hurt and everything is getting on my nerves. I'm not sure how long this relationship will last. I really prefer a Man that is a take charge kind of guy. One that is just as confident when he's by his self as he is when he's around me.
I'm really going to hate kicking Steve to the curb, but I thought about it a lot while on vacation and I just don't believe he's right for me. Besides, he'd probably buy me a cubic zirconia ring if he ever got the nerve up to ask me to marry him. =)
Well, I'd better cut this short, this post is getting a little long and I've ranted about my vacation to Italy and Greece long enough plus spilled the beans on my relationship with my soon to be ex boyfriend Steve. Yep, little whimpering, whining, Moma's boy Steve!
